Roli

Roli remained very lame so there was nothing for it but to have him X-rayed yesterday. I was greatly relieved that they managed the procedure without a general anaesthetic by heavily sedating him. I spent some 20 minutes with the vet on collecting him and was given a complete breakdown on his X rays. Although cruciate damage cannot be completely ruled out the vet did not think that was the problem, at least nothing else showed and it was suggested that it was a case of severe bruising to the hip and knee. So it is strong pain killers for the next 10 days and no exercise for the forthcoming week. I wish I could explain why to Roli whose sorrowful eyes will follow me as I leave him behind!
