I missed my training this week and after several attempts finally managed to get an appointment to see a doctor on Thursday when it was confirmed that I had definitely fractured the 5th metatarsal in my foot! It was obvious to me that something was radically wrong despite the orthopaedic consultant telling me there was no fracture, he never even properly examined my foot! I also wonder whose X ray he saw, it certainly was not mine! It is now some 6 weeks since the injury so hopefully it won't be too long in healing however it is doubtful whether I will make training next week .
